Apple-CT don't seem to sell the new model with wifi?

Yeah, I didn't see the latest wifi model when I ordered my unit from them.

I got my wifi set today. Quite disappointed with it. The wifi only works/in range when i am right next to the bloody car.

When I'm in the living room, the wifi can't even be detected, even if detected, the signal is too weak for connection.

Car and living room separated by window nia, only 1m apart between my phone and car.

Dunno is the set like this or my set have problem...

I went by Challenger yesterday to check out the SD cards, and found that all of them are SDHC cards, and even one 64GB SDXC card. Can these cards be used with the ITB100HD or ITB100SPW?

Also, what should I do to use a higher capacity SD card? Can I simply plug it into the camera? Do I need to format it? Do I need to first transfer any configuration files from a SD card that was already used for recording?

The card as long is class 10 will do. For ITB 100HD max it can support is 32GB, whereas the wifi version it can support up to 64GB. Better to format the card in the camera or supplied software, as some configuration files will be saved to the card after format.

Red Blinking LED

Finally installed the wifi model, but the red LED keeps blinking. That means the GPS is not detected? How to solve this problem?

I just installed the Wifi version in my car. It seems that the camera is running very hot. Is it normal that the camera is running around 70 Degree Celsius?

Anyone tried using Hotspot? Is it working?

Tried Hotspot mode but it is not working at all. Checked the manual and it says that Hotspot mode does not work for IOS. But I'm using Android and still it's not working.

Any one can verify that the time recorded is always -1hr when the Singapore time zone is selected? For my wifi set I need to set to Japan / Seoul time zone to get the correct actual time..

Ya. Kinda felt cheated. The wifi is pretty useless now, can't do **** about it. Its a good camera nonetheless, except for the wifi. Will suggest people interested in getting to get the normal hdsp instead.

No gimmicks in the advertisement, I did the test personally from my house & its connected, open space no blockage. Proven with photo.
Btw the actual usage wifi is for you to access the videos & settings wirelessly without the need of PC, not for you to use like an ip camera.

With blockage it can connect within 5-10m.
If you can't, meet me and I show u. <1m is too unbelievable.

I am using Android as well and hotspot does not work.. Client mode sure work..

For Hotspot you need to change the default SSID and password from the PC viewer first, or set the hotspot SSID in your phone to ITB100SPW, password: 0215887064 as explained in the manual.

Very normal, since the launch of ITB100HD it have been this way with no overheating issues from itronics.
