64G SD card support is one thing. battery draining is another thing. My car just died because of the f&*%^ camera!!! And yes, I do have the power saver. According to the battery guy, he had sooooooo many cases where ITB cameras caused issues with the power. Apparently there was a BMW group that almost sued the distributor. I now bought a new camera, and have to switch off the parking mode.

Did you ever had battery draining problem in your 2 years usage of itronics?
Not for mine in my 3 years though.
I will always advise my customers to power off the unit if not driving for more than 3 days because its logical that other electronics devices like internal clock, alarm etc is still draining power as they are not connected to the Power Saver. I have sold many Korea brands from BV, FV, Anyview & Itronics, all using the same 12V and amp. It's weird to define how much battery Itronics specifically consume & drain the battery because all consumption are same across brand & even the power cable can be reused across brands. A food for thought.

What you wrote just make me realise it could be true.

My battery (amaron) was changed about 10 months ago, the new battery voltage read 12.4v when it was first installed. Nowadays before i crank my engine, i realise the voltage is constantly reading at 11.7v - 12.0v (with both camera off through the switches, power saver could still be drawing power)

Anyway, i found out that despite my power saver is set to cut off power supply to camera once it reaches below 12v (specifically set on the power saver) , it never cut off my camera even when my voltage reading is at 11.8v, it only cut off the supply when my reading drop below 11.8v.

Now thinking removing the power saver and install TPower C instead. Tapping directly to battery is really bad. If the power saver fails, really hong kan.

Many brands out there to choose, try not to tap your camera to battery, use a battery pack like TPower C instead...

Any advice for hit-and-run incidents? My parked car has a scratched bumper. Hopefully ITB-100 has captured the bugger. Had not looked at the videos yet. Should I make a police report? What to do with the video evidence and how to claim against the other party if I have the car plate number?

Unfortunately TPower C is quite expensive, and would require charging once in a while (no idea how often) And when you have 2 cameras the price, obviously, doubles...

The only option, beside throwing away the cameras, is to power them through a point thats gets cut off when car is off. But then why bother to pay for a model with parking mode ? Another food for thought...

You didn't have issues, SimonLam, maybe didn't have issues. How many had problems? According to the guy who sells batteries, quite a large number... I know I did. So what is the problem ? Some units fail while others work fine ? What does that mean ?

According to those customers who bought from me and feedback from my main dealer dealing with BMW, there is rarely such incidents reported from those who followed our instructions. Maybe a little minority with old batteries and forgetting to Power off the unit when going overseas. But this is the same problem for any car cams owners across any brands due to the current limitation of Power source from Car Battery. Try switching on your headlights and engine off on a old battery & u will know what i meant.

Maybe you really had this problem, but judging from your 1.5 year old battery, there will be a high chance of overdraining if your had not power off if not driving the car. Stating that the power saver only cut off at 11.8v and not 12v, have u done any kinds of tests & reports to support your claims? If you really encountered the problem, have you contacted the official channel to rectify & check the reason of over-draining? Even if the power saver failed, it's impossible for electronics devices to be 100% problem free due to lemon etc, else what is the purpose & meaning of warranty?

I can also TYPE the hawker uncle who cooks hokkien mee told me that your nick from HWZ is a stirrer & competitor, or just a unhappy customer trying to defame. So are you? Im sure you are not, but see where i am coming from?

Typing is cheap without proof & identity.

Yes, you can submit any form of evidence which you deemed suitable. Also check for the xyz impact sensor reading, one of the customer managed to claim using this readings in the past with the sound and video.

How to check the impact sensor reading? I zero in on the vehicle by looking at the lines which have a higher interference.

When there's no impact, it will be a stable straight line. A "heartbeat" proves the impact.

There are spikes when cars drove past due to louder sounds produced. I zeroed in on 2 vehicles which has spikes in thr sensor reading, turned very close to my car, and have sounds of impact as they brushes past. So how do I tell which is the offender?

Since buy liao have to LLST lor. Probably will change away the whole set once my warranty end.

The guy, is the guy selling batteries. He has no interest in making up stories... And his customers are the ones who have battery issues. (camera or not...)
