Has anyone experienced restoring an eSIM from an iTunes backup? Recently, my phone has been encountering issues, and Apple Support suggests that the hanging and freezing problems I'm facing may be due to a software issue. They recommend the following steps:
1. Perform a full backup.
2. Go to Settings and reset the phone to factory settings.
3. Then, initiate a restore from the backup. However, they mention that the eSIM is not backed up, so I will need to contact my telecom provider to reinstall another eSIM.
I would like to inquire if anyone with an eSIM has gone through the iTunes restore process (using a wired connection) and if the eSIM was successfully restored.
By the way, I am on the MyRepublic 4G plan (M1 network).
