So I just bought a MBP and instead of restoring from an earlier Time Machine backup (figured there was too much crap from update over update since Snow Leopard) I decided to just update to the preinstalled High Sierra to Mojave and install whatever I need.
Small problem is my iTunes app on my MBP is now empty save for some songs I bought on iTunes Store. The songs I ripped from DVDs and my playlists are gone.
Have heard horror stories of how when ppl plug in their iPhone with everything in place to a newly formatted Mac or a Mac with nothing in iTunes, EVERYTHING in their iPhone gets wiped out.
How do I connect my phone to my MBP and copy the playlists & songs from my phone back to my MBP without wiping out my phone instead? TIA.
