iTunes refund?

I paid for one year subscription for readers digest using iTunes

Download apps and have been reading for 9 months no problem

For the 10th, cannot download magazine, message say to update apps

Tried to do that but unsuccessful.

Reason say I need to change the store

Problem is I did not even buy from US Store, I bought from Singpre store

Write to them, no respond

Can get refund?

Please help

Write in and explain your situation. The customer service has been very responsive from my experience, they refunded my purchase with almost no question asked when told them I bought an app that I thought I already own(this is before they have a "purchased" section in the App Store).

Try calliñg AOS at 1800-692-7753 as stated in their website. I remembered calling in for a refund issue for an iPad app some time back. Pretty fast it got resolved.

It was a good experience getting a refund. I remember accidentally buying Infinity Blade cos I thought it was IB2. Had the wrong impression it was released after seeing it at some Apple media event. I just told the CSO through emails that I made a wrong purchase (US$6.99), having mistaken it for the new version. They refunded with no further probing.

On another occasion I accidentally bought OS X Lion even though I was entitled to the free upgrade, cos I didn't know I simply had to register to get a redemption code to download off the Mac App Store. So they refunded me the US$29.99 after I gave them my redemption code.

Bottom line, if you have a reasonable purpose to ask for a refund, you'll get one.

No, reader digest is still around, some company decide to keep it going

Everything was great becoz online version is so much better with animation and YouTube Li skin etc

Until I try to download August issue and they tell me need to upgrade the apps

But iTunes Store say cannot upgrade becoz different country

The only why this happen is that Singapore store just have been allowed to sell content but that is now revoked and only US Store sell

account is with Singapore store so they will not allow me to download new issues although already paid for the full year and subscription is not over yet

Btw, apple did bit reply by email

probably have to call them to request an investigation

But not worth the time

More motivated to start telling everybody that apple iTunes suck big time

Moving to android

Yes, they may not be great but at least they never try to pretend that they are flawless or atas, unlike apple
