Hi all,

Have been out from the hardware scene for quite sometime so currently I need help building a rig for my friend. Could you guys recommend a m-itx CPU for a budget of 1-1.1k

Some requirements
-No space constraints but would hope to be as small as possible
-No OS, monitor, DVD Drive needed
-Must have SSD
-User is a girl, girly themed parts appreciated if possible.
-Web browsing, movies and some light gaming (SIMS 4/DotA2)

Thanks everyone in advanced! :)

Don't have to be hello kitty hahah, maybe just pink LED strips or a red case would be fine. Windowed cases would be nice but not a must. I can probably source a case for her, for now I would need more help on the internal parts. Thanks for your input!

Kingston 2133Mhz 8GB @52
Zotac MLC 480GB @189

- psu will be 450W but depends on the casing den we can tell u which psu to get, as there are some fit for itx case and some for atx or matx case.

I did an ITX 2 mths back:

- Silverstone Raven RVZ02 Mini-ITX Case Non-Window (Black)
- Silverstone ST45SF-G 450W Full Modular 80+ Gold SFX
- MSI B150I Gaming Pro AC Skt1151 Mini-ITX Motherboard w/ WiFi a/b/g/n/ac & Bluetooth
- GSkill NT F4-2400C15S-4GNT 2 x 4gb 2400Mhz CL15 1.2v DDR4
- Intel i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core
- Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5" SATA3 SSD

After substracting OS/monitor/KB & mouse, it should cost you about $930ish

GSkill ram even cheaper than Kingston ? almost same as my intended build. only ram and PSU different.

These info are great! Already bought the GTX1060 from lazada, the mobo and proc looks good, I should be getting a ram with heatsink as well just for aesthetics. For the case, I'm actually enquiring with Tech Dynamic for the Pink RM3 that wacko recommended. So I am guessing ATX PSU would be fine. I don't need any DVD and OS so we can skip that :)

Thanks for the recommendation! Will ask if I can indent these.

desktop computer needs cleaning once in a while, not ideal for a girl. just buy a laptop and connects it to an external monitor lah.

Girly doesn't need to be stereotyped pink nor white. It can be classy as well. ;)

TS you can consider this Jonsbo mITX chassis, with an Apple-sque touch...

Now selling on Lazada for $129.

RAM wise should get G.Skill NT DDR4-2400 8GB with a black PCB, matching the overall theme colour for just $49 in SLS.

Meanwhile, for SSD you should wait till they restock and use future DBS/POSB code to buy. :D

Hi all, thanks for all the recommendations and Tech Dynamic especially for assisting me to indent the case. I built the PC last weekend and my friend liked it a lot!
