anybody know where can get the usb cable to connect the j3 locally? mine went into the washing machine and is dropping connections to my j3, on a mac

so today, my ibasso t3 arrived, hooked it up to my j3 and turn all eq off, then maxed volume, alo jena mini ic to ibasso t3, let the amp do all the work...

conclusion? just buy a sandisk fuze/sansa (with pure line out) and get a good amp. Eq has nothing on a good amp's sound signature...and the ibasso t3 isn't even that ex.

to me, j3 alone is as good as my ipod+ibassioD4 on my um2.
it is so much more portable than going out with a PA and a decent IC.

the difference to me is almost night and day, i prefer the boost in gain the amp gives that the j3 can't give even when the volume is cranked up. Mids are more recessed using just the j3's headphone out. Soundstage slightly improved also, but not as resolving as the midrange, esp. when using a tf10x4.

Reverb off

On fully burnt in IE8 with about 400+ listening hrs(estimated) and with the bass dial set to 2. Removes the infamous mid bass thump and makes the music better

Made another one(this is for IE8 only)

-4 80hz Normal
-2 220hz Narrow
0 1.1khz Narrow
0 3.0khz Normal
+1 9khz Normal

BBE Off
Mach3Bass 2
3D surround 2
Mp Enhance On

Sounds almost identical to the previous setting. But a little more bass. Good for all kinds of music. Compare to "Normal" EQ settings and see.
