you can prepare to get chopped if you buy from funan or sim lim. someone was quoted 400+ or 500+ for J3

If you are afriad, then go to the service center and buy loh.
Just that you have to travel all the while to Tai Seng MRT.

Well.. i bought my J3 a long time ago and i bought it from Amazon!

A quick check on Gmarket, the price for J3 (16Gb) is $370 and J3 (32GB) is $420. Since it is already discontinued, I am sure they can match these prices PLUS a local warranty PLUS you can test the player on the spot.

Trust me, i have learnt it is always good to have a local warranty. The servicing for my J3 costed me S$100 plus freight charges! Well, i was unlucky. sigh.

is it cheaper to get a 8gb version, then add a sd card, or just get the 32gb one?

I don't know the name of the shop but it is on the 1st floor and they have a entrance facing burlington sq.

I believe in SLQ should be only a few stores selling (Hai Chew, World Audio or Edison).
