To be fair they have set the bar too high. Viewers always expecting new games.

Viewer fatigue happened to every variety show especially so for one that has been around for 4yrs! At least Mr Player made effort to introduce new one now and then unlike show like Running Man. Despite adding 2 new members, its rating is still below 10% most of the time.

some people like me don't watch this kind of show for the games, don't really care who wins. just watching for the entertainment & lols & whatever funny crap that jacky says

but then again if they go overseas they should make the games more relevant to local culture instead of doing stuff that can basically be done in tw itself

I've been following the show since it started and still trying to catch up on the episodes... currently watching the April 2018 episodes. But I usually catch the latest episodes bits and pieces, and although I experience viewer fatigue, I sense they are trying their best to inject new elements.

Personally, I really loved the latest Swiss episodes. Great to see SBDW joining forces, and Black Team has great camaraderie. Can't say the same for every episode, but I have to agree that its because of Jacky that kept me going after all these years.

P.S. I would much prefer Kun Da to be the second host instead of Xiao Gui, who looks much more egoistic and a face that looks buay kiam wan. Time can prove me wrong, I guess.

i like oversea ep.. because.. i like to see sth.. out of tw.

yea the joke n talking are the best.. usually..

once in awhile.. bikini girls.. funny guest.. pretty guest etc etc.. add more interest to the show also.. cant deny that.

It is obvious that work comes first for Jacky, I got the feeling he get lonely when there is no work. Also he doesn't like to talk much about his wife, seems like there is no love, only regret.

Too bad he doesn't do "live" broadcast on YY site, like the impromptu "behind the scene" shot at the place of work.

he is super hardworking ... aka workaholic...

i remb him saying.. he usually only slp 3? or 4hrs a day.
(err of cos.. between filming n set.. i believe he nap abit.. but.. you get the point)

I think he just love to work.. this type.. they will always tell u they wish they had holiday.. but if u really give them holiday.. i can bet.. they will call you earlier. n say can i come back to work .. at least until they really fully retire.

that's why pple always have respect for shows that can last very long.. eg 10 years.. or something.

it's really not easy.. becos more than usual.. the viewer will just drop.. + game show.. come on. of cos the game will be recycled..

they can hire many genius to think of game.. but.. there is limitation too. i mean.. everything has its limitation.

sometimes its not the game.. its the interaction that make the show.. fun or watchable. hence.. to me.. i always think.. Guest is the most important. for this show at least.

It also helps that he does not get sick often, he mentioned in one overseas episode (Korea I think) when he finally caught a cold.

As long as the show stick to its original format and not deviate too much, it should be fine. As for the game(s) being recycled, it's not big deal, they should improve and upgrade overtime with feedback from the fans.
