Another trick they use is to vary the no. of dice for the next game.
If one team has a big lead, then the next game is likely to be 5 dice and the trailing team will win to catch up.
When the scores are close, then the next game is only 3 dice so that the chance of the winning team getting a big lead next is minimised.
It is increasingly like scripting the outcome in Running Man.
In the latest episode of Running Man, after the last game had finished, it was announced that the score from the last game would be added/subtracted (determined by drawing chance) from the score already accumulated by the team. Clearly, this was to ensure that any of the 3 teams could still be declared as the final winner. Before the last game, 1st team had 190 points, 2nd team 140 and 3rd team 100. So even when 1st team finished 3rd(i.e. last) in the last game, they would still be the eventual winner after getting 60 points from the last game because the maximum the 2nd team could get was 140 + 100 = 240 points. So obviously after the last game, they decided that the score from the last game would be added or subtracted (to be decided by drawing chance) from their already accumulated score from previous games, meaning that the 1st team with 190 points could still end up with 190-60 = 130 points only.
