Hi guys,

just wanna ask the experts here..

I have a flight from FUK to SIN which transits in TOK. If the arrival & departure airports are different (arrive in HAN, depart to SIN from NRT), do we need to take back our check-in luggage?

Is it very troublesome to go via this route or should I just stick to FUK->NRT->SIN route? The thing is that the latter flight timing is not great from JAL/ANA webpage, although surprisingly there are lots of flight from FUK->TOK (HND, NRT) which is not reflected if I try to buy return tickets from SIN->FUK

thx!

Yes for sure you will need to take back then check in again in this case. You can check either JAL or ANA website regarding connection, I believe its explained in there

To avoid the hassle, you should just buy with connection at same airport in tokyo (either hnd or nrt) and not fly into hnd and depart from nrt, or vice versa.
