Hi All

will be leaving for japan on 17 jan and will arrive in narita on 18 jan morning.. will be travelling to osaka followed by kyoto and back to tokyo..

would it be advisable to get the jr pass? will be in osaka and kyoto from 18-24 jan..

Yes. Get the 7days pass. Cos u will utilise 2 way trip of shinkansen.. tokyo-osaka-tokyo.. so worth to get the pass..

If u travelling one way and departing from osaka airport.. then no need.

7days in osaka/kyoto ok mah..

im also going osaka for 7 days in apr..first 3 days wander around osaka and day trip to kyoto/nara/kobe remaining 3 days.. last day checkout back to tokyo

Doesn't make much diff actually.

You plan to do the entire 7 days in Kansai ... and then back to Tokyo after that for a few more days? Or this trip not planning to cover Tokyo?

i am gg to osaka -> kyoto -> tokyo

will be in osaka n kyoto for 7 days before gg back to tokyo for another 10 days..
