Japan or Korea

Need some advice from folks who have travelled to both countries frequently.

I've been to Japan first time earlier this year. Plan to either go back to Japan or somewhere else like Korea next year March or April.

Which is a better choice and why?
Considering that I prefer nature and sightseeing more than shopping.

I vote for Korea especially to jeju island. Rent a car and drive around. As for japan, traveling is headache experience as need to catch timing.
