i will just stick to Kyushu if 10 days.
in fact, my 18 days itinerary only covered northern Kyushu, didnt touch southern part (Kagoshima, Miyazaki) at all. more than enough things to do in Kyushu for 10 days

Depending what you are going for , if it is just eating and shopping, then these 2 cities are quite similar.
Thanks for your reply, honestly idk what to expect. a mix of chill and city bah preferrably. Are you available to give me recommendations of chill/scenery places? or like day trip place to see the sky and the stars. City area kinda easy to navigate since tiktok has alot

Daytrip, from Tokyo to Karuizawa, a resort town.

Daytrip, from Tokyo to Izu Peninsula, explore the Jogasaki Coast Trail, Mt. Omuro and Ito hot spring town.

Daytrip, from Tokyo to Nikko for autumn foliage to view Akechidaira Plateau and Lake Chuzenji. https://www.japan-guide.com/blog/koyo17/171024_nikko.html

Daytrip, from Tokyo to Mt. Tanigawa for a hiking trip.

The above daytrip can utilise the JR Tokyo Wide Pass (3 days pass) https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2361_06.html

Within Tokyo, can explore the old Tokyo's neighbourhoods https://livejapan.com/en/in-tokyo/i...tokyo/in-pref-tokyo/in-ueno/article-a0000038/

Thank you, I will take a look at it and plan my trip.

Sorry 1 question, let's say i 17-22 in Osaka, 22-28 in Tokyo. Do you think is it worth it for me to get the JR pass. Because I will be touching down at Narita Airport and going to osaka straight by train

You will need to at least do one day trip to breakeven on the fare.

You have to purchase the JR pass before end of Sep to avoid the price hike.

Should be worth it base on existing price, single trip between the 2 is already $150.

https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2361_05.html All Kyushu 5 days pass

Activate the pass on 9-Oct if you are going to Yufuin-Beppu from Kokura. I assume you are heading back to Hakata (Fukuoka) on 12-Oct. So I suggest you do a daytrip to Nagasaki on 13-Oct (so as to utilise the pass and see more things) than visiting Maizuru park and Nishi park (nothing much there).

I suppose you are getting 7 days All Kyushu pass @ 20,000 yen as I noticed you are staying more than a day in Nagasaki.

For 14-Oct, you may want to consider a daytrip to Sasebo https://www.japan-guide.com/ad/sasebo-seawind/

Have you confirmed your accommodation already? You don't need to stay overnight at Kagoshima on 12-Oct if you are just visiting Sengan-en Garden. You can make your way to Nagasaki after visiting Sengan-en Garden. You can visit Mt. Inasayama for the night view and end your day in Nagasaki. https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e4412.html

Personally, I did not visit Gunkanjima Digital Museum, but I went for the boat tour to Gunkanjima. I strongly recommend the boat tour.
