-Can consider placing Harajuku and Shibuya at the next day of Shinjuku since they are pretty near to each other ?

-Disneyland and Disneysea can be visit for a day ? If yes, can consider Hakone to be filled up for a day slot.

-You can place tokyo skytree on the day for Asakusa since they are near to each other. Personally i find that Tokyo tower is kinda far from there and never visit before somehow

-Do you consider putting Akihabara in the itinerary ?

Actually your itinerary is somehow around the same as mine at one month ago. lols.

Im planning a winter trip this year. i wanna know which is the best combi. (osaka+tokyo)

for tokyo, i just wanna go to:

1) joypolis
2) hakone (onsen and ryokan)/lake kawaguchiko
3) akiba
4) fujiKyu highland

which would be better? I have gone to other parts of toyko before.

6 day tokyo 8 day osaka
7 day tokyo 7 day osaka
5 day tokyo 9 day osaka.

based on my tokyo iteniery, which is the best.

Hi Everyone,

I'll be going to Tokyo in 2 weeks time. 1st time to Japan and mainly to visit Disneyland&sea, a little shopping and food.

Will be stay at Granbell Shinjuku (Opening Promo )

Here's my itinerary, please offer some kind advice

Day 1 (Wed)
1030 - Reach Narita A/P
1500 - Check in Hotel
Explore Shinjuku Area

Day 2 (Thursday)
Disneyland

Day 3 (Friday)
DisneySea

Day 4 (Sat)
Tsukiji Fish Market
Asakusa (浅草)
Ginza
Tokyo Tower
[Tsukiji and Ginza is near each other and walkable. so maybe u can visit asakusa first, then tsukiji then ginza. tt is unless u are planning to go very very early for the tuna auction]

Day 5 (Sun)
Shibuya
Harajuku
[will be better to go harajuku in the morning. can visit meiji shrine and yoyogi park first since shops dun open so early]

Day 6 (Mon)
Tokyo Station
Yokohama (Ramen M. & Nissim Cup Noodle & Cosmoland)

Day 7 (Tues)
Shinjuku/Shibuya
Odaiba
[shinjuku and shibuya again?]

Day 8 (Wed)
Scooting Back in Morning

What do you guys think?

- Skytree worth visiting?
[i havent been to skytree. but if u are looking for observatories, there are free ones such as tokyo metropolitan gov building and bunkyo civic centre]
- Should I get Open-date disneyland tickets in SG and extend for another day at park?

5 days seems quite alright. 2 nights in tokyo, then 1 night at hakone, 1 night at kawaguchiko

going to be very hard to squeeze disneyland and sea into a day. one day each is already barely enuf coz of the queues for the rides

Thanks for the input; but i queue for certain rides during that time(personal preference).

On the other hand, there's discount for the ticket @ 3pm onwards.

5 days seems quite alright. 2 nights in tokyo, then 1 night at hakone, 1 night at kawaguchiko

fujikyu highland is near hakone right? i wanna spend 2 days there coz i dont wanna rush themepark in 1 day. (disneysea.... sigh)

anyway, my friend said there were onsens and ryokans at kyoto.. so may consider there

Yea, I kind of saw that too. Waking up early for tuna auction worth it?
Was thinking of also having Sushi Dai/Sushi Daiwa as well. How's the queue like? seriously 2 - 3 hours kind?

Yea, thinking of starting the day with Meiji Shrine. Mid Feb is still considered winter right? Was wondering if there's anything to see in parks during the season.

Haha, ya in case my partner can't finish shopping. But I think will be spending most of the time is Odaiba for the day

Thanks for the advice, definetely will be visiting tokyo metropolitan gov building on Day 7. Actually first time to tokyo, don't mind paying but whether it's worth the visit that's the point. Hopefully not overrated.

- Reach Narita Airport at 7.40am
- Shinkansen to Kyoto
- Check in hotel (Any hotel recommendation?)
- Nishiki Market / Heian Shrine / Higashiyama District / Kiyomizudera Temple / Gion / Pontocho

27 April 2014 (Day 2):

- Nijo Castle / Kyoto Tower
- Depart to Hakone
- Check in hotel (Any hotel recommendation? Preferably with onsen )
- Lake Ashinoko / Hakone Shrine / Onsen

28 April 2014 (Day 3):

- Gotemba Premium Outlets (Half day)
- Depart to Tokyo
- Check in hotel (Any hotel recommendation?)
- Shibuya / Hachiko Statue

29 April 2014 (Day 4):

- Ueno Park / Ameyoko / Asakusa / Tokyo Tower

30 April 2014 (Day 5):

- DisneySea

1 May 2014 (Day 6):

take note that Shikansen to Hakone is not possible. The nearest hakone's area shinkansen is to Odawara. From there you will take the connecting trains (eg Odakyu) to reach Hakone-Yumoto.

So the same for you to get to Tokyo, no Shinkansen until you get to Odawara.

Assuming you have 12 hrs, you should be able to cover 2 places. maybe or 2 spots per city and the 2 spots should be close to one another or along the way back or towards your destinations/hotel

between Osaka and Kobe is about 30min away only.

Actually we plan to stay in Kyoto then 1 whole day for Osaka/Kobe. Travel time from Kyoto to Osaka is 1hr. Maybe possible by half day each City.
