April 26-May 4

Day1 - Arrival in Tokyo via Narita
Day2 - Tokyo
Day3 - Hakone/Harajuku/Shibuya
Day4 - Departure going to Kyoto
Day5 - Osaka/Kobe sightseeing
Day6 - Kyoto sightseeing
Day7 - Departure going to Tokyo
Day8 - Tokyo
Day9 - Tokyo/Departure going back to Singapore

frankly bro, i am really not encouraging you to rush about like this. I do realize many folks like to cover as much as possible with as little time as possible but the downside is that you will not enjoy it very much. The compressed itinerary like this can be done if you follow a tour group. On a FnE, you will be exhausted soon enough or seeing very little but with lots of effort put in.

Anyway to forget about Kyoto/Osaka/Kobe? with a rush schedule like yours, I don't think you will miss much anyway. the 7 full days better use in Kanto area where there are lots of sights and things to do already. My 2cents.

i agree with cpuer, for 9 days it is better to just focus on tokyo and some day trips to nearby places. it is expensive and time consuming to travel to kyoto/osaka just for that few day.

also note the travelling time needed to get to hakone. usually u will need 1-2 days for hakone. u wun have time to visit hakone, harajuku and shibuya in the same day.

Itinerary add-ons

Thought this would be a useful link for all those looking to add off-beat unique experiences to their itinerary. Things like dress up as a geisha, wear a kimono, watch sumo wrestlers practice, become a ninja etc... Should check out Voyagin, really cool experiences in Japan. (sorry I can't post the link)

HAHA HI-FIVE! Yup planned 75% of it already. Trying to get things in order and thinking what to do for the last 2 days. I'll share a simple one here when I'm done, should be soon.

I'll be staying at Asakusa Sakura Hostel. Pretty cheap rate hhahah 6 nights for 18,000 yen.

10 days for tokyo + okinawa + hokkaido is way too rush, with too much travelling between regions. even tour packages dun offer such itineraries.

i suggest u stick to just tokyo with some side trips such as hakone or nikko

I may just go either one of the themepark. Can't decide which to visit.

Did you visit any other Disneyland before? e.g HK,LA, Florida, Paris.

If yes, i would suggest DisneySea as its unique and only available in Japan, Tokyo.

Disneyland is mostly the same all over the world.
Except for a few special rides unique to a certain location (e.g. Matterhorn in anaheim, Indiana jones in Paris), mainstay attractions, like Space mountain, Big Thunder, Pirates, Hunted Mansion, Autopia, It’s a small world, exist in most of Disneyland parks.
