Not sure is it worth to start this thread. But i sure there will be parents bringing their children to Japan in December school holidays. Let get it started.

I paid $4050 for 2A 2C.

That's a bit high but no choice I guess.

My main route was Osaka - Kyoto - Yokohama - Tokyo. You can consider adding Kobe as well if your kids are able to help with the luggages.

Ya. Price is high and i think can't be help as is Dec school holiday. And only this period can bring kids out for a long holiday. Actually intended to go Kobe as well for a day trip and our prefer date to come back is 27Dec instead of 26 Dec but need to add $800 more so removed Kobe and go next time maybe.

Will only base in Kyoto and Tokyo as kids are still young and too troublesome to keep switching hotel. Will use luggage forwarding from Kyoto to Tokyo.
