It's best if you're able to buy from Amazon with a Borderlinx (US) account and reship to your address in Singapore.

Very expensive to buy locally. However do remember, the power plug that comes with it is a US socket type, but it does come along with a USB cable for charging though.

Yes, I've been using this bluetooth and it is better than Jabra Stone and Plantronics headset.

Oh yeah, do purchase Jabra Eargel as an add-on (a pack of 6 eargels e.g. 2 Large, @ Medium, 2 Small sizes) for your Jawbone Icon.

RE

I bought my Icon from him

http://bluetooth.jonathanho.net/

I'm using it with my iPhone 4 and I really love it for it can display the Icon battery status on the iPhone and it also comes with A2DP (separate install)

Oooops....forgot to say that you can also get the Icon from those stalls in the centre portion of the ground floor of SL SQ

:D

Most local merchants are selling the Jawbone Icon expensively. The cheapest I found is at http://www.spider88.com.sg/, warehouse is somewhere near Sin Ming/Jalan Pemimpin.

I would purchase from eBay/Amazon and have it ship to Singapore. If you can wait, that is what I would do. But do remember there is no international warranty for Icon purchase from eBay/Amazon, and even for local sets sold in Singapore.

1) Icons sold at Jawbone.com are priced at $99.99 USD (approximated $140.00 SGD), shipping is approximated $25 SGD to your address in Singapore.

2) Icons sold at eBay/Amazon are priced between $60 to $80 USD (even cheaper), excluding shipping. Shipping costs are about more or less the same of $25 SGD.

Perform a comparison.

Got my Jawbone Icon Ace from eBay. Damaged around SGD120. Very very very happy with it. Of all the bluetooth I own (not many, just 2-3 before this), this is the BEST. Love the batt indicator, love the noise assassin, love the A2DP, love the clarity and ease of use, love the fast 'lock on' when switch on. :D

There are two types of packaging to Jawbone Icon. 1 type is the fancy packaging whereby you would get just as you purchase at the normal store. Another type is whereby you would get is the OEM version (less packaging and less accessories that come along with it).

Can anyone please confirm if the Jawbone Icon works under the following scenarios:

1. Playing music
2. receiving call w/o touching the iPhone4 unit
3. making call via voice command
4. while listening to music (w/ the Icon) receives incoming call and then iPhone4 automatically switch back to listen to the music through the Icon after dropping the call.

Also, do anyone knew if the NEW DESIGNS (especially "DENIM" design) are available in SG?

Thanks in advance.

2) & 4) not possible. iPhone 4 cannot answer an incoming call automatically and not even automatically through a bt headset. You need to touch the iPhone/bt headset to answer the call. For item 4), if the call ends, then it'll auto switch back to playing music

Hi, any idea if we still can use the power plug with a 3 pin universal plug-in? any voltage issue since US & SG is having different voltage input for the electronic devices

If it's the same usb power adapter as the jawbone era, then should be no problem as the power output is regulated by the usb port.
