We rented our semiD out at only rm2500 for 2 years to a young Malaysian Chinese couple. And renewed it at rm1800 for another 2 years cause they could not afford more as they had a baby while renting the first 2 years. They were good tenants so we kept them and they also agreed to help us pay our monthly maintenance for us about Rm180 a month. We later had enquiries with higher Budget of rm3000 for a group of Beauticians company lease.

you're guessing only

Not guessing. I have been driving around quite frequently from gelang patah in the west to beyond Johor jaya in the east and to kulai town in the north and cannot fail to notice the vacancies. Even for those occupied, I am just wondering how the businesses could survive. For some the whole building could be abandoned or half built. There are simply too many wasted buildings around.

And someone thinks the commercial units are
doing well without residents / job opportunities?

Many buyers ( esp non landed ) are non- residents.

May be he only goes to crowded places like city square or ksl or may be further a little like sutera mall or tc

But I am sure your property is in better hands at the family. If rent to the beautician company, become dorm style, later after lease finish you need to renovate again.

Yeah, more important to get good profile tenants...she whatsapp me every month when she deposits the rental and she is very prompt.

A semiD for S$500+ monthly rental :s22:

Malaysians middle class suffering from high inflation, must be understanding...some more young couple with newborn baby...

I was very happy they had a baby there. Cause after I bought the house then I was told there was a death of an old lady there. So the newborn kinda chased away the "badluck". Hope they have more babies there...
