Have a pair of boots, the Dr martens 1460s, black but not the super glossy type.
How should i wear my jeans, as in tucked into the boots (ie like army) or over the boots?

Do kindly share, I can't seem to find a lot of info online...

TIA!!!

There is no right or wrong but if you are wearing skinny jeans, then it would be difficult to be outside boots.

Personally, I prefer outside the boots.

Slim fit + tight hems (i.e. 15/.5) = tuck it inside your jeans. :vijayadmin:

are you tall or short? more than 1.75m at least? if you are really tall, than it doesn't matter.

if you've short legs, either you find a new pair shoes or if you insist, please don't tuck the hem. cuff/fold the jeans (slightly) if it is too long.

models look good in them because they are tall and slender.

My most sincere apologies for the typo mistake, tuck the jeans into the boots, not the boots into the jeans.

i always think tuck in would be better. cos the main idea is let the ppl see you're wearing boots. so if you're wearing over it, it wouldnt be that obvious. and if you're not tall enough better not fold, it makes your leg look short, and look shorter in height in overall.

If jeans is selvedge and you want to show the cuffs, wear outside boots. This is very popular. Check out those denim stores and their websites.

If skinny or slim cut, can tuck in as the leg opening may be too small to fit in a good boot

if all else remain the same, the following principle applies

Which is more expensive?

If selvedge jeans more exp, then show outside

If boots more exp , eg red wings logo outside, then tuck in.
