There is no telling. Some people are not affected. Some take up to a week. You get it this trip, but you do not get it on another trip.

It is usually depends on your arrival time and how much sleep you had before arrival.
If you arrived in the morning, try to sleep only after dinner. If you continue to travel (after arrival) by bus/train for at least 2 hours just take a quick nap.
Stay awake by drinking lots of espresso.

Upon landing, I usually force myself to stay awake till my regular sleeping hours in that country. Not a fan of spamming coffee as my digestive system gets rekt by too much caffeine, and I also struggle to get any sleep at all on planes even in Business Class.

They say it's 1 day for 1 hour of time difference. But it also depends whether you sleep during the day or not. If you do, it may take longer to adapt.

You can try drinking Chamomile tea or milk before sleeping. That works for me.

I usually don't have jetlag when I fly to USA coz I will try to sleep according to the local timing.
