Jetflo Case fan Problem

Hi,

i just brought a jetflo and somehow it seems to spin at more than 2200rpm on pwm when i set the bios for the fan "Target speed level 1 and target fan 55 degres". Then when i run the prime95, the fan spin just keep on increasing and all of sudden got weird noise coming from the fan.
When i look at HWMonitor, it shows 2800+ rpm.

What causes this? My motherboard bios or the fan does not limits itself to max rpm of 2200?

edit: Now even at low RPM there is some noise when the fan is in vertical position.

Use the silencer wire.

Use the silencer wire.

now it seems like even when at low rpm even with the silencer wire there is a noise like brushing against something or some friction. not the fan wind pressure sound. :s22:

somehow it seems abit like the MB PWM caused the fan to spin at rpm more than what is stated by CM.
