Jetstar reschedule my flight

Jetstar rescheduled my flight to surabaya in indonesia and provided me with different timings on the same day, or 2 other different days. Then therez a last onethat says the flight options provided do not suit me.

If i tick the do not suit me what happens?

u might wanna call them, see can get back refund or not
if not u have to accept their timing lol

normally if timing change, they would let u choose the previous or next flight
if u buy insurance, you might wanna check with the insurance if u able to claim, if your flight new timing is more than 6hours ...
if u no buy insurance, doubt jetstar would give u voucher or whatsoever

Claiming insurance is one thing for flight delays / reschedules. Note insurance pays like $100 max while in SG. You can claim insurance, then ask for refund or even still fly to the destination at a later timing.

Usually, if nothing suits you, they will give you a full refund or just a voucher for the same fare value you have paid.

I was rescheduled by Jetstar once and I checked the options does not suit me mainly because the timing allocated to me is a few hours ahead, and I need to sacrifice part of my itinerary. After picking that option, went to Jetstar to find another suitable timing before the scheduled time, called in and was allowed to change to the timing.

Claiming insurance is one thing for flight delays / reschedules. Note insurance pays like $100 max while in SG. You can claim insurance, then ask for refund or even still fly to the destination at a later timing.

normally insurance pays 75sgd for every 6 hours
some insurance companies might even pays u 100sgd
however u need to get the letter from the airline to state the delay, how many hours was delayed and the new flight timing, in order to email or send them to your insurance company and get reimbursed ...

I don't think my insurance covers this leh LOL. It only covers cancellation of trip if serious sickness, death, riots strikes natural disasters pandemics epidemics etc.
