I am graduating end of this year and would like to get graduate programmes but the intakes are usually next year july and the application is end of this year.

What should i do if i really want to join the graduate programme? There's a 6 months gap and chance of not being selected and forgoing other opportunities.

Should i just forget the idea of trying for a grad programme?

Grad Recruitment programmes are currently undergoing actually.
Visit career centre for help. They can provide with you a lot of info.

When the graduate program application window opens in July, apply for it. In the meantime, get a job first. You can always take leave to go for job interviews then. Just don't settle for a job with low pay, as your next company will base your pay on your last drawn salary.
