@Ender

Confirm liao. Brad Stansfield just posted the whole pic. Same gist as what i posted earlier.

Be mindful, but dont be alarmed. The FDA target is 8.8ug/day for adults, which is already 10X over-conservative. California prop 65 is a pretty ideal target at 170X over-conservative with 0.5g/day,

Same for other things like microplastics to be zero or ultra trace ideally, but realistically that is not possible. That's the state of things nowadays from food to disposable chopsticks that we use in our hawker centres, god knows what is inside. The california prop 65 daily limit that CR uses is a very ideal target.

Luckily I take my Vega chocolate flavoured pea protein (with creatine) not at full doses and not daily basis. Chocolate + Pea seems to have much higher risk. I still got a new tub not opened yet. Haiz! After this tub I might stop buying, or at least convert to non flavoured whey protein instead.

That one would be less the T1000/T1100 CF reinforcements, same T800 base. Good enough.
Yah, for me as a newbie, more than enough, esp with my age and no longer have the desire to push the pace. And where i live, no mountains to climb, just cruise along the roads to enjoy the river and sea views.

Actually what happened to the Dynafish Danian (ver 1)? That time like that one went head to head with the Dowin PB Pro.

Basket, the PB Pro still at 670rmb now.
If mid 500s then is a solid no-nonsense shoe liao for those who can run fast and still cheap enough to get multiple pairs if it suits you.
I wonder if anyone here bought the Dowin PB Pro. Been receiving plenty of positive reviews in YouTube. Looks like a good replacement for my QIAODAN Feiying pb3.0, although the outsoles are really minimum. But certainly a great pair for forefoot strikers to run fast. Maybe can get one when price goes below RMB400.

If based on FDA 8.8ug per day limit or EU 12ug/day. it should mostly pass. And remember, even this "high" limit is 1/10th the level of observable symptoms.
Take for eg the California Gold nutrition whey protein dark choc, only 0.0103ppm per serving and that's 0.0103 µg for 25g of whey. Way less than many other whole foods that we have in our lives.
But of coz, for mass gainers, you are hooting like 300g per day, so........ if they are also higher in lead then yeah.

Check out clams, actually even for others like mussels, oysters. Some seafood, fishes, shrimps etc. You'd be surprised at their levels. many of them fail even for a small portion. Sweet potatoes, potatoes.
I posted 2 local SFA advisories also, it's not an unknown thing. Bigger issue than whey.

The surprise is really fruit juices (packeted or bottled) that i posted last night. Big names like Welch's grape juices that we can get here as well. Adults ok, maybe dont drink too much, but kids would drink, and at much higher/bigger serving sizes than a 25-30g scoop of whey. And kids are more susceptible as they growing neurologically, hence the much lower FDA limit (2.2ug per day i believe for kids).
And if you are going for california prop 65 0.5ug/day then good luck.

California prop 65 labelling has crazy standards for many other stuff, ranging from air to water pollution to microplastics, other than food. Many times it is an idealistic level, it's something like asking you to cycle at 8kmh so that you ideally do not hurt yourself.

Haha you lagi hiong, rmb 400. I tot mid 500 rmb would be a good price.

I just need 1 (new) pair of shoes for me to try and really run fast in, I have shoes currently that i can gun.....but these newer type of very light "hyper" shoes seem intriguing. Slower paces shoes i have tons for home-office runs so no need.

Bro.....now then i've dived into the details.

I dont think you need to change anything. The % results is for 0.5 ug of lead per day.
Safety margin for FDA limit is 17.6 times higher (1760% higher) and EU is 24 times (2400%)

There are foods in your daily life that we eat also which are way higher than this, unfortunately.

Last time I always look at branded flagships. Now I just ask myself, if I ride alone all by myself, will this bike serve my purpose, will it suddenly have failure, will it exceed my budget or the real value it gives. Brand is nothing to me if it for showing to others, but a reliable brand is still important in providing consistent reliability and safety.

safety consideration is paramount
if I am going for a one brand provides all approach, then a reputable/reliable brand that provides a ready-made bike does make sense
however, if one goes for a DIY configuration (to save $), then it's about selecting reliable parts from reliable brands (tested by large group of people in one's contexts) and get a reliable bike mechanic near one's residence to assemble
either one is a rabbit hole cos as one starts to ride, he/she will have personal feedback and start tweaking the bike to get more comfort or performances or pure vanity upgrades (all will lead to buy more parts!)
That's why stay clear :ROFLMAO:

Of coz, with that said, dont feed kids with mass gainers @ 300g servings coz they are bulking. 🤣 SG got 1 teen (14 yrs old) who really is into bodybuilding.
Everything gotta have a perspective and context.

I do let my kid take some whey protein sometimes, at 20-30g. Like last weekened, we hooted close to 200km.

For my father, risk and benefits asseement ba......he skips meal sometimes and so a daily serving is non negotiable. Best is to pair it with fruits (fibre) so that the absorption slows down. Else that protein/amino acids also becomes into glycogen and fats coz his training not as siong as us.
No proper training and recovery, that protein does not automatically become muscle, high protein intake doesnt do much for sarcopenia.

EVERYBODY fan boy over Pacquiao
Legend of his sport and weight class. I will respect that. But for physical Asia I don't find confident in him because of his size and age. He is probably only good in boxing. Even for boxing, his punches only good for hurting small guys, and receiving punches from them. Swop with a big guy, very hard to absorb the heavy punches.

Any non plated shoes to intro?

Currently looking at Lining yueying 5 pro.

Although megablast and vomero plus are tempting me as well

if i am not wrong, lining yueying 5 pro is plated. it's quite tight and snug at mid foot area for my feet

Dr Brad is great in looking scientific studies.
My stopping buying whey is not due to this, but I am trying an old school method for recovery for endurance runner i.e Carb : Protein ratio is between 3:1 to 4:1. Brad is also one of the first youtuber to call out the over promotion of protein intake among most health influencers. He recommended lower dosage is enough than what most influencer recommended.

Ya I see the Turkish and Australian team. I think all the south east asian teams no chance.

My current understanding is for us "training" as long as hit 1.2g/kg can liao but bump it up to 1.4 to 1.6g/kg as insurance also no issue esp since for me i am cheonging a bit of calisthenics as well, and cycling also quite taxing muscularly. Current weight 72-73kg, so i can hit 100-115g protein daily.

Only issue is how our diet and reality fits into that. If home got cook then quite simple la, issue is for me is 99.5% hawker....... 🤣 So looking for hacks like the NTUC $7.45 roasted or mala taste chicken(800g with bones, 1g protein per 4g meat). Quite a few big NTUC outlets have it, over the weekend my kid and i changed upon JEM Fairprice at B1 also got.

Canned sardines i/we have been supplementing eating for a few years, really quite sick of it liao.

And i cannot be taking 8-10 eggs per day to supplement, buay sian meh. 2 or 3 eggs sometimes 4 eggs, i still can tahan.
