any instability at 6min pace? what's your weight and footstrike?Brought my 9U for 5x7 mins interval (4:30 pace) yesterday and just finished 11k easy (target around 6:15 pace).
Several times during the easy run, I inadvertently went faster than the target pace. End up finishing at average of 6 mins pace. Think you're right, the shoe wants you to bounce and go faster
This kind of route is suicidal. Heng no cars, if not kena hit also dont know what happened.
One triathlete was RIPed in USA a few weeks ago in a similar fashion, forgot what ironman course. Roads were so-called "closed" but in reality it was not sufficiently enforced with resources (cones/barriers, volunteers) and some parts were unlit.
Solution is to run with blinking small light. Runners / cyclists / triathletes sometimes really like to wear all black.
And ultimately also depends, if athlete bonk and delirious already and ran out of course, also LLST.
edit - interesting, some runners in the video really got put on blinkers. Smart. I think got experience before.
It happened to me at scsm 2025 too. Mine was after half though. Walked the rest of the way. Both legs cramp up until thigh
i saw the facial expression in the early morning watching the replay of the race summary on youtube. Quite hilarious expressionbut salute to him to give his all. Subsequent videos showed many teammates actively acknowledging his effort either by pouring water over him, patted on his back etc.
I had 8km to walk, was kinda thinking how to walk for 8km at this state. You had a bigger problem than me, waseh 21km.... this is the first time I kana cramps like that, I don't usually get it. I thought I will just lose focus and get lazy.
Girls from Lulelemon were cheering for me, I just got nothing in me to start running lol. I end up getting selfie with them.
I just can’t , haha I was walking at 12-13mins pace yesterday.I actually walked the last 3.6km of a 10k race at around 6 min pace. ITBS triggered at around 6.4k mark or so and i could not even bend my right knee at all, coz someone cut into my line suddenly and i had to jam brake at Bay East Garden part at around 4:00 flat pace. But at least still got below 50 mins.
Heng for around 1.5 years previously before i began running, i was trained in racewalking. Trained until i could racewalk for 2.4k at 12:30 mins, so at least got use.

Didn't feel any instability. I'm at 79 kg midfoot to heel strikeany instability at 6min pace? what's your weight and footstrike?
when i tried in store.. other than the very tall stack height and stiff forefoot. It did not feel wobbly standing and walking.
He said the 9U is unstable according some people. But he himself find it alright.any instability at 6min pace? what's your weight and footstrike?

I have stopped looking at 9U ever since I got the 361 LF SL. AL the bounce of the ecapulated foam, don't really like it from my 6e first experience. But see how in the future as I put more mileage into the 6e, hopefully can get use to the bounce.
