Your legs sure take a beating. You probably walk like a bai kah for a few days
Ahh yes the post race symptom haha, hopefully it'll recover fast cause i'm kinda used to it from these runs.
I quite enjoy running stand chart compared to 2xu. 10km run feels like can run forever.

For the 16km I ran at a constant pace of 6/7km.
You ran the 2xu this year too? How's the race?
Last time i ran that was 4yrs ago liao.

Quite boring. The roads are too straight for my liking. No performances. I suspect this year stand chart cut down for half marathon.

Didn't managed to get sub 3.5hrs today but i got a PB for marathon (3h 35mins) which is good enough for me already. That slow start right where all FM and HM runners run tgt made my pace slowed down but luckily i'm able to get back from there and maintain my pace throughout the run. HR was at Z2 but i didn't want to push cause i'm so scared of hitting the wall. Now when i think about it i kind of regretted not pushing cause i still have tank after crossing the line.

Seeing that cadence straight line made me feel like the whole year of training was worth it. :)
Very nice ! Since you were able to maintain Z2 for the marathon, your real marathon race pace in sg would have easily netted you a timing <3.5 hrs liao, no need to go overseas.

Lactate Threshold

4km

17.36

Pace: 4.24/km

Used to run with army admin shorts but switch to PT shorts, much better for cadence/gait. Same pace as my runs in Australia.

Heng, quad injury didn't flare. Just minimal discomfort all the way. But need to do stretching at every drink station I stopped.

The trainasone predicted my timing to be 4:22. And I got 4:22:21. This AI quite accurate in analysing performance.
Good job both of you. My Garmin predict marathon 3:35 haha

Already signed up before SCSM and since i got the ballot so might as well go experience oversea run 1 time haha.

So zhun haha. Given SG's weather its safe to add like a few mins buffer for race timing. :s13:

For me the killer is the sheares bridge
Surprisingly i didn't slow down this year.
Once i reached upslope i know its all the way man since downslope is much easier haha.
