just wondering if you all run in the rain and how do you dress for that weather?
No different. The same light and airy attire for my everyday run. Shoes that doesn't pond too, and some times run in sandal, good for running thru those pondings.
If wear too much, the soaked clothing will get too heavy. Won't feel cold one coz your body will be warmed up after 10 to 15 mins of running.

When I reached my age, I find myself usually awake by 4 to 5 hours of sleep. Tried supplement like melatonin and magnesium, not helping to get that 7 to 8 hours of sleep. Guess this comes with age as you see those old folks, usually wake up very early in the morning.

With 4-5 hrs of sleep, do you nap in the middle of the day or just function off that?

But yes for older folks, it’s usual to see them sleep early and wake up early.

I thought if you run liao will have a good sleep of at least 6 hours as your body is tiring ?

I had no problem to sleep but just that I wanted or not
Really admire people who want to sleep, can sleep. Like my wife, she just settle down on bed and within 5 minute deep sleep liao. While I can turn here and there forever.

No nap in the middle of the day. so whatever sleep I get for the day is exactly those short hours.

My mum uses L-theanine, someone (quite into this area) said not the best stuff out there but it's good enough. Same level as melatonin, but possibly less unwanted effects.
She uses 200mg, quite power.

For me i just use fasl dissolve melatonin from iherb. So as to get to sleep at by 9.30pm sometimes as gotta wake up by 5. 2.5mg half tab of 5mg usually ok. Also can ensure at least 6.5 hrs of sleep, usually is at least 7hrs.
No unwanted side effects. BTW, it's best to expose your eyes with 30 mins (preferably 60 mins) of sunlight or at least bright office lights before hooting caffine, if not cannot clear the melatonin from the system. For me and my schedule totally no issue.

No issue with sleep for a few years liao.

Interesting video on sleep and how it affects running by a run coach

I am currently not sleep optimised since ideally should sleep earlier and about 7-8 hours. I did my PBs back in the day where I slept at 12 and wake up at 7.30. Of course, the best is sleep at 10 and wake up at 6.

Trying to adjust my sleep schedule now from 2am > 1am. If possible, perhaps sleep at 12.

Sleep is very important.

Since you said you have not been sleep optimised, I think if you have enough sleep, within 3 months you sub 19 liao. (y)

Both also a bit torn liao

What the F......... you only purchased not long ago. My SCE3 is a bit worn there but mileage is also high. Think you not land enough mids (ok, forefoot might not be for everyone esp wo strength training).

But fear not, can get from TB and DIY glue. xllms kai siao one. Cheap cheap......get 2-3 sets, so even if it comes off, just re-do. No issue one. Just enough to cover the soft midsole and prevent that one from being chewed up (and it can be chewed up real fast)

When I first started running I very goondo one. Go and wear those 23mm heel 17mm forefoot for HM practice then complained about muscle ache and joint pain. I showed the running lab salesman my fresh foam pursuit he laughs and then recommend me the Clifton 6 :)
