another torturous run, felt really strenuous and have expanded all my stamina to complete the 10km, similar to my HM and 24km runs

How's your ankle now?
Right now, I have early sign of possible shin splint. Quickly calf compression sleeve for the whole night and day. Cancelled my LSD and ran short 6km only instead. Tonight will see if can run with the compression sleeve.

ankle appears ok, but stamina has dropped drastically. Feels awful when i run. One month ago, i completed my fastest HM and now i am struggling at 6min pace by 2nd km, 6.30-7min pace from 5km onwards. By 8-9th km, i can barely manage 7min pace. Let alone going further than 10km. 🤣

pic 1 in oct 2023, bought the shoe for about a year... mileage at 100km then... ordered the shoppee china glue... not fantastic

pic 2 sometime Q1 2024 whole shoe split after applying glue on the sides that open up...

pic 3 current, sides splitting again but retiring it at 200km

Do they got any warranty? I heard in Nike US you can exchange for new. Dunno about sg here.

Not easy to glue midsole to upper. I used to use contact cement for gluing shoes. Very good for outsole to midsole, but midsole to upper not good.

A few weeks ago, I tried the 'shoe glue' from LAzada too, different brand as yours. Follow the instruction from the product page, which is very different from using contact cement. So far my NB RC Elite v2, glued upper/midsole, has hold up good for two long runs.

You may also need to find a way to clamp them. I used large Cloth peg, and those plastic F-clamps.

No hurry to gain back. Slowly and gradually increase pace over days or weeks.

its actually the same glue... just different branding... even provide the same rubber band... i use many ways to clamp them together... it holds up for a few runs then will split again especially if come in contact with water... this glue is quite corrosive to the color on the shoes... it discolored my VF2...

anyway i will still buy back nike supershoes just lamenting on their durability....

too little mileage, disappointingly poor quality

NIke VP fly2 and Alphafly 2 well known to split. But their performance is the standard. Don't know if they have improved on the durability of v3.
regarding bolded, how much does it improve one's pace for a 10K compared to say, those cheapo SAF emart PT shoes ?

Thanks, that's why I cancelled my long run yesterdays, and run 6km. Tonight test again, even if pain level 2/10, I will change to short run on the spot.

The whole day compression sleeve seems to work. Maybe placebo. LOL, Doing Tibilias raise last night and today.

Think might need to do some plyo jump or hopping exercise. Will research on youtube on this.
