Waiting for the white colourway.

good luck, saw one version of plaid 2.0 in white with light beige midsole. not sure if they will launch it for sale.

For me, I love all the QD PB series I owned (2,3,4). Though I have not tried the plaid yet. Yes, it's firmer, same characteristic as the Adidas Adios Pro 3, as they both used the same TPEE midsole. But I don't know why the Adios feels clunky, and the QD PB all of them just ride very well in tempo pace. sizing is a issue, all my PB gave me bruised toe, but using the without the insole helps to alleviate the problem. HM with PB 3 without insole is no problem for me. PB4, I have it in EU46(one size up from the others), but it's not much bigger, (machiam EU45 1/3 if compare to PB3).

Now I see quite a number of SGrean getting the Li Ning Fei Dian Elite. But sibei expensive from the boutique store here, I rather wait for Nike VP4 at the outlet store, while buying the plaid 2 for standby.

yes AAP3 feels clunky as compared to pb3.0. Perhaps u can try ATS9 to compare as well. My memory told me pb3.0 was somewhere in btw AAP3 & ATS9. And yes, pb series work really well in tempo paces.

I feel plaid really soft and gives a lot of energy return. My fav pair of race/fast shoes.

PB4 to be fair I didn't wear too long, it kept bruising my toes and felt clunky compared to plaid 1.5 and bmai jingtan 3.

Taobao and seller recommended 44. I took 45 as I have wider feet. Also thought of inserting insole.

On receiving, it is abit long. The upper is surprisingly flexible. First wear width tightness is just nice. 2 more runs seems loosen slightly.

So the recommended 44 is not wrong.

I tried putting in Rebel V3 insole(US size 11) and everything became perfect.

For now, the soft/bouncy/energy return feels better than Plaid 1.

Hope they make new colours and I will hoot another 1-2 pairs.

US11 is your normal size? My PB4 EU46, according to QD chart conversion is Size 12. Why was the seller recommending 44? is it base on measured foot length?

Hard choice for me after June.. Plaid 2.0 or jingtan3

Also depends on the shoe last.

For eg. Recent years, NB shortened their last. I got to size up to get the right length/width.

Rebel 1 - 10.5D
Rebel 2 - 10.5D
Rebel 3 - 11D
Rebel 4 - 11D

For Taobao, I believe they suggest according to length.

In general, any size that corresponds to 280mm fits me well.

I can't speak for Plaid 2. But the reviews seems to suggest it's firm + good energy return.

Maybe need to watch the "cutting in" at the arch(足弓). I did get abrasion initially on both Plaid 1 and 1.5.

*Qiaodan customer support suggest sizing half size up for Plaid 2.

Jingtan3 turbo on the other hand is balance of firm/soft + good energy return.

Bonus is can add insole to tilt the balance of firm/soft to what you like.

Edit: I don't like firm shoes so waiting for more Plaid2 discounts and reviews before buying one to try.

Add: Rebel 4 is nothing spectacular. I'd even say lost its identity. Heng bought on discount. But could have used the money to buy another Jingtan 3 turbo!

Ya, china shoes, usually have to base on measured foot length rather than US->EU conversion to be safer.

For me is 295, which is rare on China shoes market. So most of my QD shoes are 290, which can wear if I remove the insole. Only PB4 I have confident to do HM with insole (cannot remove).

Ground wet big no no for me. Getting my footwear + socks wet means high risk of foot rot for me. Been like this for me since my NS days. Also why i was considering getting those high powered blower fans you posted previously to dry wet shoes but i thought no more freak monsoon surges and yet one more came along LOL...........
