Just buy the Plaid 2 (also best to buy from official store)......nowadays in 2025 you wont go terribly wrong with China big brands one (it's probably the same pattern with big western/Jap brands...still can go wrong with some). Now 2.0 lagi more suitable for cadence folks. I usually run 180 (simply coz of DnB music) but dont feel any issue with Plaid 1.0 TPEE.
Now i guess got evidence it's lagi better for >= 180 runners. How to go wrong with rmb 709 all in maybe
~ 140sgd,

In cycling there is a fair bit of snob brand appeal for quite a fair number of locals, but i think runners here should know better.

not sure whether to get considering I just bought VF3 haha. Have 2 pairs of plaid 1.5 as it is. One for race day, one for training lol
The issue with shoes and to a certain extent bikes is very difficult to sell on carousell due to sizing and colourway. Even if you slash half on a mint pair also difficult. And of coz got women and men.....actually is interchangeable (eg us9 men some women bigger feet can use) but generally pple won't wanna do homework on internet and try/ change.

For bikes if you slash half on a mint pair still ok coz usually only 5 sizes and generally people use 3 of them. Some cases for some brands got more sizes but generally ok if inbetween brands.

LOL. Runners dilemma. .it always happens when a super shoes get attractively priced.
What makes me put it in the watch list is I had never owned a top tier running shoes. By top tier I mean Nike has the alpha fly, adidas has the pro evo, for QD it's the Plaid.
Also the 2nd half of the year is the time I search for SCSM race day shoes, just nice for the Plaid to be priced attractively.
But heart also itch for the 361 flame 4, but it's a 2nd tier for the 361's line and the price is not as attractive as Plaid. It's like only 50 rmb cheaper.

Not too concern about the quality of these china brand shoes but i am actually more concern about sizing and fit since one can only blind buy without trying for size first. Previous time i blind bought a pair of shoes from taobao i went half a size up just to be safe. End up the shoes were too loose with almost 2 finger spacing at the heel part.

This one need to do own homework and read lots of the reviews from china be it youtube, billibilli or TB reviews, if locally dont have the product. It isnt really different from getting branded ones like Puma or Saucony online from say Zalora.sg or amazon, just that they have more accessible local stores for you to try out. I think nowadays for QD Plaid some local stores carrying it anyway (someone posted here before)....that time for Plaid 1.0 i just bought blindly based only from reviews and the store CSO recommendation whether is it true to size and any tight spots.
I also bought a lot of branded shoes online but checked it out from local physical stores first.
Heck, even within the same brand, ie New Balance, my SC Elite v2 is different from my Rebel V3, the latter being much tighter in toebox area, for the same US size.

Li ning seems to be getting into the road bike biz as well. But just starting. They have a booth in the now running Shanghai bike show 2025. They really have the global clout. If really true and go into production, really a force to be reckoned with vs the normal western brands (which are too bloody ******* expensive)....esp with locals being so super brand conscious.

PBed in server room.
65 normal push ups do till failure, chin touching toilet roll. 1 min 20 seconds. (y)
I dont train with normal push ups but it's just something as a normalised standard test as keeping tracking of performance.
But after 2 years of training, further improvements are getting really really slow.

That's what community here is for, We asked for TTS from those who took a risk. Watch reviewers, like in youtube the HUI china guy just happenned to be one or half size smaller than me, I can take reference from him. In the end risk is still there.

My QD PB FY 2 and 3 had big toe trauma on the right foot for long distances. 10km below is fine. But this type of trauma even if you try at the boutique, you won't catch it. Coz you do your usual one finger or thumb width gap margin, and you think it's alright. The upper structure rigidity, the toe box room height, lacing etc has a part to play. But getting the one finger or thumb gap is the first step to rule out, but no guarantee.

All is not lost, foot sometimes can acclimatize via progressive overloading.

Some found the li ning bike not good looking. Already there are cheap China brands like winspace, yoeleo and seka. Li ning is just another, and probably won't stir a storm.

Singaporeans vain. Can only choose from pinarello, sworks and factor. Haha

Actually i can't even see much difference between most bikes. Other than Trek Madone's isoFlow design.

Im currently checking this one out.....actually the ER:One which is the updated even more aero version. 4k+ can get with Ultegra 8170 di2 already.
Only thing is the stupid name but i ok with that. Next time can share with my kid also.

So now i know what that ATB is riding.
