Sub 3 not easy in Sg, that's why many go abroad and run. But I think it's fairly doable overseas.

The checkpoints: 5k sub-19 (local) > 10k sub-40 (local) > HM sub-1.30 (local) > keep rotating between HM and M > M Sub-3 (overseas) > M Sub-3 (Sg)

Only limiting factor is injuries. I had this conversation with another runner who joins a paid running club and what I understand is that, the coach usually push people hard to achieve their running goals and be competitive in the local running scene. The training is very tough, their easy runs are basically all steady-state and hard runs consist a lot of hill training. If your running form isn't good, then it's easy to get injuries during training.

One of the reasons why I didn't seek coaching is mainly due to needing to follow a strict program. What I am doing is considered minimalistic, but it works for me and I can still improve without getting hurt. I guess it works out over time eventually.

20240702 28degC brooks hyperion elite 3
10.01km @ 7'07" av
struggled badly from 2.5km onwards, paying the price due to lack of mileage last month and probably cardiac drift.
still feeling the strain as of now at my office desk, 2 hours after my run.

Yeah must take it easy after injury/ not running due to rain.

Yeah got injured cause I pushed too hard under SRY training. Now doing more cross training as mentioned previously. Though my own fault as I pushed with training when feeling the pain despite him telling me to take a break

indeed, i am feeling like the first time i complete a 10km run. Totally spent and feeling 上气不接下气
Gotta slowly pick up mileage and pace with more consistent runs this month.

That means $50 and $10 to have it couriered to you. But at least got that option. The collection is at Khatib.

Got to be more cautious when doing fast long runs, only do those sparingly. I did my 15k hard run so that I know what my easy pace should be at that distance.

Long runs with short segments of HMP, is fine though. Wouldn't be too strenuous on the legs.

The route not out yet, only will know in Sept :ROFLMAO:
