this is a good 200m race. Top 4 all pretty close. Lyles top end speed and power to sustain to the end is still the main dfference. Really impressed with 3rd place, Jamaican's Levell.
Overall, this group is still one tier below Bolt & Y.Blake who were regulars below 19.5s.

20250920 25degC with cool autumn breeze
21.15km 6:58min/km av 155bpm avHR
Qiaodan 强风3TR with lululemon sneakers insole
some 6mths never run HM distance
first time trying out throughout HM using nose breathing. Easy pace and no strain. But next time need replenish electrolytes in between cos after 12km can feel calf muscles slowly cramping up.

didn't plan to do such long distance actually but weather was nice. was thinking about 10km, maybe 15km. Then at the location to do a u-turn for 15km, felt good i just went forward instead. The special aspect is the nose breathing all the way. never done such long distance before. First time after HM, my heart doesn't feel overworked and body doesn't feel drained.

Loaded up another 1kg of Creatine. Now have 5kg. heh.......
29% is good, same price as my autoship 30% when i ordered 4kg.

Trying some UC-II for my father. The glucosamine is like placebo but since he taking for quite long just cont (cheap also).

Anyway the glute max, min, med and quad strengthening seems to be taking effect. He said first time 6 months no more pain (yesterday told me when i visited). Quads a bit difficult to train coz he chair squat halfway initially already pain, so i implemented wall sit for him @ 45 deg first, then 60, then 90 deg all the while improving.
Think he can try squats already, and maybe later with resistance bands.

My mum also doing, she said she wants to progress till single leg squats. She is a believer.

wow white peacock. Where did you see them?

That area is called Imbiah lookut (imbiah station) apparently. Where the Sentosa Skyline Luge is at also.......you pay top dollars to slowly roll down down the slopes

So basically i climb and bomb down the road on bike.

Just upgraded few days ago my front brakes to 180mm Dura Ace CL900 rotors and rears to 160mm solid rotors (was 140mm 140mm front rear and i could see dark brown colour and streaks of blue already.
Coz of Sentosa and Mt Faber.
They might be far far away standard from the Alps or downhill mountain biking, but if you have enough power, i think still need some focus on heat management.

I try the Dura Ace CL900 rotors first, see if the steel/alu/steel sandwich lasting or not. Current versions (CL800 and CL900) supposed to be more solid structurally and less likely to get out of true after repeated heating/cooling cycles than previous versions.
If cannot maybe try some Hope RX floating rotors.
I wanted to do Magura MDR-P floating but then saw the rattle issue.

Last night i tried some Kevlar Ceramic brake pads, cannot, too loud vibrations when hard (e-brake) braking.......see if i can sandpaper it make the surface more prepped and maybe i try again.
Initial bite force quite good, actually a bit better than the Shimano resin pads.

You shd get into cycling. :ninja:

No it should not be doing this, it was quiet for the first 8 months and just started doing this. It is really lout on the trail when you're not braking.

If sleep late and/or wake up too early with only 4 or 5 hours sleep, will u all still proceed with long run? Or give up, try to sleep more?

Ah Sentosa’s, now it makes sense.

Conditions in my life not conducive for bikes at the moment. But who knows later in life. Lol

Today supposed to wake up 5am to go hoot. But last night 1++am then slept coz stomach got bacteria, hooted 20pcs charcoal at 11.20pm (went to bed at 10.30) and so need to go toilet a few times since need a lot of water to flush thru GI tract so that the AC gets through.
Continued to PCWed here while waiting for the water to be cleared and stomachache subside.....switched off alarm, this morning 6.45 auto wakeup, then started the hoot.

Esp for cycling, need the rest. Esp if going BEG, GBTB, MBS for fun.
This is all too common for me over there. Runners running in the middle of cycling lane at night and then suddenly decide to u-turn and into my direction. Or wearing all black, dark complexion, running at the extreme side closest to the reservoir no lights and running right towards you. (cyclists suppose to keep left on cycling lane)
Dont even wanna post story liao. Vietnamese, Indian, Pinoys, Singaporeans, you name it i have had it.
Dont know why but i am beginning to feel even WCH lagi safer just that if anything happens then consequences are higher if got kpod driver whacking into you.
