I think nowadays 2026 still ok. See quite a fair bit of BMAI, Xtep, and Plaid on the PCNs like Kallang/Geylang, BEG, MBS. I mean at least got 5% of the runners lah.

Imagine that time in mid 2023, i was wearing this.......2022 winter colourway Plaid 1.0
Really had to thicken the face up first before going out for my runs to MBS.
Literally nobody, and i mean nobody, wearing PRC shoes. Maybe 1 out of 1000 you'd see an Xtep, if you are lucky.

Actually quite similar story for road bikes too. Covid era 2021/22 era vs present. That time chinese bikes very much limited to foldies and PCNs

Wished they would remake Plaid 1. Like the look and ride!

Maybe improve the upper. The lobang is huge until any sand can go through. :s13:

Especially at fitness corner with sand.

Sold Out!
Pro Evo 2 still plenty.

I suspect worldwide is not only runners after to get a pair of this, but also sneaker collectors. S$709 is sup sup water to them. Not to mention opportunistic flippers.
Maybe Sunday's emergency zoom meeting is how to ramp up production to at least a few hundred thousands a month as income opportunity knocks.
Doesn't matter if you are only a slow 5 min/km runner.

But then again, this is nothing new.

Some girls ride their 20k++ "everything race" bikes for coffee rides also. *shrugs*

And the best part is, now post covid, you dont see them anymore.

Wah Goran also played with > 100g/hr fuelling.

Also part of his regular training. That's actually relatively short for his speed. Probably no more than 12 seconds although gradient was not specified, but he trained in western Kenyan highlands.
Very running specific strength and neuromuscular stimuli.

For those with no hills, just do the SITs and/or BSS at home or gym ba.

Lol, if you don't have the pace, running in those super shoes can lead to injuries one
super is for the elites cos they have trained for it.
when the last time us mortals have run a 2:50 pace? I will suspect for many... NEVER.

I bet you all shoe company china or otherwise will be busy reverse engineering the foam, energy rim and geometry...
