Interesting....

Drop in blood glucose, and the brain starts to turn on eco mode.
True or not, not sure.

But not necessary for slower riders until 2 to even 3 hours after.

Hydration is crucial also, part and parcel of the whole process.

@xllms

Nowadays China can really go crazy.

Give them 1-2 more years. No need a lot.

yup we talked about incolor previously
Actually come to think of it, havent come across Incolor here in real life before. Not even in the shops.
Quick Pro becoming not super rare already, can see them in the bike shops / local youtuber vids

Last time i played cars that time i also dig sleeper builds, debadge etc.

There is one more nowadays too, Evolve Cima, but Tay Junction bringing in, and it's bloody expensive. (ie anything that local retail touch one, becomes $$$ like gold)
china is almost on par with world's best in running and cycling tech. I can see within the next 3 years, there will be greater exposure and endorsement on Chinese sports brands in these 2 fields.

i am currently relooking at the hifi scene, in particularly speakers and integrated amplifier tech.
China have made huge strides since the covid period especially the DAC scene, eg. Holo Audio & Denafrips, which are competing well with the best in the world.
Looking forward to see how the Chinese break into the speakers and integrated amplifiers to compete with the world's best from the Europeans, Americans, Japanese (Raidho, Borresen, Grimm Audio, Riviera, Vitus Audio, Dutch & Dutch, Devialet, Wilson Audio, Ayre, YG Acoustics, Magico, SoulNote, Accuphase, etc)
Currently, the S.Koreans are doing very well this aspect.

Can consider 361 miro SL aka lifeng SL. Personally I prefer this over xiaonian as I like a firmer ride with road feel.
Needs to break in for about 50-70km to get responsive feel. Works well for daily 5-6 min pace.

Edit:
the shoe drains well as opposed to XN and cos of minimum padding dries fast as well.
Heh..heh placed order last nite. Looks like PDD now charge GST upfront.
Only can afford China "SL" . German's "SL" out of budget.

saw evo sl on 30% discount on adidas online. first time i think.
me smell evo sl 2 coming

Saw on Lazada Evo SL selling for $134. But only 10.5 and some smaller odd sizes.

Don't think will fit my bunion wide feet.

On separate note, any of you guys running with Adios 9?

This new Qiaodan shoe said to be similar.

Low stack, 6mm drop, road feel, firm/bouncy?

Tempted to try haha.

Currently on my 3rd pair of adios 9. imo if you have wide feet, not suitable (very narrow racing flat fit)
On feet feel (standing/walking) is soft and cushioned and will never guess that it is that low stack.
But if you have not run in a race flat in a while, your legs may not like it and may even get injured. As there is ZERO roll effect and every stride depends on your legs so it is not "fun" to run in for many.

This is the old school, pre carbon plate running shoes. I used to run in the Adidas adios 4, Mana 7. Even the pre Saucony Kinvana 12 were this profile. NB has it 1400 series, same profile.

Sounds good thanks for your input. I will probably get the Qiaodan instead even though Adios 9 is on offer for about $100.

I need to relearn how to run so this looks good. Will ease back in.

Too many years of highly cushioned, rocker, plated that sometimes I don't even feel I'm running correctly. 😂

Going back to olden days. YPNBlue mentioned 薄底香菜 reminds him of Saucony Freedom.

That sealed the deal for me. One of my favorite last time.

i think key is to rotate. Get a mix of everything. I use the adios 9 for easy runs sometimes and mostly for 1k and 2k repeats.

Actually these type of shoes with lesser stack, make stronger feet. Do you know the Adios 4 was the premium marathon shoes before the carbon plated came in. heel stack like less than 28mm, fore foot stack proably less than 20mm. they are the sough after marathon shoes. Now heel stack of 32mm less is only good for HM. Our legs getting weaker.

Ya I remember last time was running with zero drop shoes. My calves got visibly bigger without doing any calf raises.

Now I do all the strengthening. Appearance looks good but sometimes can't feel which muscles are working when running... Like simply cycle through the motion.

Back to basics for me.

Is there any difference ordering shoes from Tb and PDD? Does their official stores in PDD ships directly to Singapore?

Most stuff shipped to Singapore. Used to be we have to consolidate at the warehouse to 99 RMB above then you get free shipping to singapore. Just pay up GST and credit card admin charge(3%). NOw they are having a promo, no minimun charge to qualify for free shipment to Singapore
Strange is it hard to find official store on PDD. Mainly rely on review and the PDD branded Authenticity logo.

The last China "SL" shoes I ordered, has this for more assurance.

Saw Redhare 9U going for 306rmb on PDD yesterday which is more than 50% cheaper than what i paid for my pair just 2 mths+ ago. Really is 300人仔买不了吃亏 at this price can just buy backup pairs or get as birthday presents for BBFA friends to get them to start being active and lose weight.
