Any updates about Jun dates (if any) of water disruption in JB?

TIA
Scheduled ones are listed on the website of their water authorities ... I can't remember the name offhand. And they might have an FB page (just guessing) for unseen incidents.

Trying fish soup nearby the chicken rice stall. Soup v nice, flavored by pickled mustard and fried garlic. Abit sour and very refreshing . Tasty batter also for the fried fish.

Do you mean that the waiting time for the lift is terribly long?
From check out time around 11am all the way until after check in time around 4-5pm, the lift is a nightmare. Firstly, Singaporeans check out with huge luggages, then from 12pm to 3pm the various cleaning crew push their big trolleys to collect old bedsheet and blankets etc, some also armed with vacuum cleaner. Then after 3pm, Singaporeans check in with their big ass luggages again, then they will take the lift back down to go out.

There are four lifts for every floor, but the piece of chit lift doesn’t talk to each other, so you have to press like 4 buttons and get one of your entourage to stand at the far end to monitor two lifts while you monitor the other two in case you miss it.

I have stayed at tower A ninth floor before and it’s supposedly a private lift coz the lift opens directly to our unit (there’s no corridor) but it’s nonsense coz that one lift still serves anther hundreds of units directly above us! Instead of waiting for four lifts, we can only wait for ONE! During peak period, I literally have to take the lift from ninth floor all the way to the top and then back down, if not there’s no chance of entering the lift.

I agree wholeheartedly, but sad to say, we are a family of 4 and need 2 queen/king bed which is very hard to find in Johor Bahru Bahru hotel. There’s no alternative Airbnb within walking distance of KSL so no choice. The best time was when COVID restrictions just lifted and we could enter after vaccination back in April 2022. Picked my kids up from their school at 5pm on a Friday and reached KSL before 6pm. Enter the mall using the MySejahtera app, nobody using the lifts, Airbnb rates were dirt cheap, no queue for any restaurants. Stay two nights and come back on Sunday.

KSL has been around for 15 years and it is really in desperate need of a facelift. The basement carpark is always damn smelly, there’s chipped tiles at the KSL residence swimming pool, the dinosaur water park has algae growing everywhere. Hopefully there will be similar rooms/beds apartment at the new apartment opposite KSL when it open to bring some competition to KSL.

Talking about KSL, any popular hair salon and massage shops that require prior booking instead of walk-in?
