will they kena another from our minister anotBloomberg says Singapore will benefit with more cheap labour!
cheap land, cheap labour, China Company can FDI to Msia to service SG client that last time cannot due to barrier of entry. What is sez? How Singapore and malsia benefit from it?
as a local business owner i fear, as this could potentially introduce a new paradigm for local workforce, having to compete with sez based workforce that are cheaper, better, faster.
where the local business and workforce have to adapt, our peers have already been 3.5x cheaper and is ready to take the our pie.
from local services, to retail and more.
especially blue collar workers in singapore, who are generally older in age, and also less productive.
and also the majority of local workforce, who pays higher taxes, dues, cost of living, that is entirely dependent on the economic premium that we have been enjoying, due to singapore's most precious resource, its people, and sovereignty.
thank you, and praying that our gov has the foresight to have protectionist policies in place so that we can reap the benefits of the sez agreement.
D cheaper labor will be in sez on jb side lehBloomberg says Singapore will benefit with more cheap labour!
Order shoppee my delivery to sez?Does it mean we can order online from there and deliver to us cheaply??
Well, won't be the first time...what if we help them build this up successfully, but later on they kick us out ?
I mean now shopee already can deliever to Singapore from Malaysia mar. I mean something like food stuff.. grocery, even food order like McDonald/KFC from JB...Order shoppee my delivery to sez?

will we get bullied again? this time no more ah gong ...Well, won't be the first time...![]()
We give up the advantage that makes Sg special and we only get food, something that many 3rd world countries can produce, from them? Seriously sounds like a bad deal.If people here think those in Singapore can eat their dollars and cents and credit cards and phones, then it benefits Malaysia more.
If you think we can get more food from them due to special lane, then win win for both.
