Southern hemisphere - winter, too cold?

Anyone share where are the nice places to visit in June? For 5-7 days?

trying to plan a getaway for myself but can't seem to find a nice place which is:
- not hot
- not boring

basically not like Singapore. hahah!:s13:

Yes! Now i'm unemployed, i'm also finding the best place to go during month of June. I'm torn between Australia & Japan.

I've been to Japan once, but now having 2nd thoughts of going there again, as for Australia, idk Australia have wat.

I'm also considering breaking the bank n go Europe. ( Iceland & Scadinavian countries )

Well, Australia is more of a scenic place than a place to do shopping. Its winter in june, but the temperature is comfortable at 14-18 degrees. However, the wind chill can make it really freezing sometimes. The places with the traditionally highest number of visits from Singaporeans would be Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane/Gold Coast. Tasmania is beautiful too, alot of rural wildlife and cold but the airfare there might not be cheap.

I believe that Japan, especially Tokyo, is sweltering in Summer.

Let me know if you have any questions about Australia :)

Australia Gold Coast - winter time in June but ain't very cold 10-15 degrees - I went last year.
Drink eat and chill. Drive around - go to strawberry Farm at Sunshine Coast! The strawberries are fresh and super duper nice.

Do a search for cities by elevation and go to the highest one in the northern hemisphere you can afford if you want to escape the heat and Australia.
