How is the movie mode for this camera? is it easy and quick to record a movie? can take stills during movie mode?

Got a independent button for instant video recording. Can take still pic during video mode but aspect ratio will be 16:9.

I bought one for my wife and it is a fantastic camera. However, be careful not to damage the charging cable because you cannot get it locally. Panasonic service center also don't have stock and the lead time is 4-6 weeks. What a joke!

wow.. that sucks.. might be worth looking to buy a cheap spare cable from amazon or somewhere. lol.
