Just curious, why polling ends at 8pm?

We are a tiny island, any reason why polling ends so late? The way the crowd trickle in, seems like end at 6pm would also be comfortable and allow for counting to start early?

I guess they considered ppl that need to work full day on Saturday and can only make it by 7pm or later?

But we are given an off day today what. So 8am to 6pm should be able to make it. See those people at polling station also like so bored. Long hours and then there is counting of votes and possible re-counts. :s11:
