Just curious, why polling ends at 8pm?

We are a tiny island, any reason why polling ends so late? The way the crowd trickle in, seems like end at 6pm would also be comfortable and allow for counting to start early?

I guess they considered ppl that need to work full day on Saturday and can only make it by 7pm or later?

becos some 24x 7 worker like logistics no holiday one hor, got to rush from workplace to polling centre.
