today was the 1st part of 2 session. mainly just remove all the decay and the innards of the teeth and put some medication with temp filling. dmg $1.4k. heng my company dentql claim still got about 700+ to claim so can cover abt 50%

the local anaesthesia worked very well. despite lots of action on the tooth and gum i dont feel anything. also v sore with the stopper that i bite on to prop open my mouth while the dentist work on it. slight discomfort only came around when the LA starts to wear off ard 2hrs later. ate nurofen and it helped greatly. by 4hours the LA completely gone

next week go back to perm filling then go back my usual dentist to prep for the crowning

not sure is my dentist dont do the procedure or she referred me to specialist as there is minor complications as gum already growing over the cavity. had to cut some gums to do RC procedure

Maybe bah. Usually normal dentist in sg can handle rct easily. Won't be so pain lah after rct. Dentist usually give some antibiotic (augmentin) to prevent invection and some painkiller.

Root canal bound to fail sooner or later. Plus having something rotting underneath not good for your health. Best is to remove and do implant. Stop the infection.

Ts remember not to use that RC tooth to bite on hard stuff. Eg. Peanuts/ice
Until you get the crowning done.
