so what if its by ChatGPT?

Still need the employee to know WHAT to ask from the AI, know HOW to ask from the AI etc etc

If don't have this employee, still need
1. someone to code from scratch, or
2. someone to actually type in to ask ChatGPT what the company wants

lan lan still need to hire this person, rite?

u r wrong. should encourage him to use it, as long as no sensitive information shared onto chatgpt. make use of AI to review and improve all your codes, maybe can take up more projects and increase output, then everyone gets MORE.. increase the pie.. make work easier, not make it harder. Humans can become gatekeepers and testers of the output code, instead of wasting time and being unable to write efficient code.

End of the day is the result right?
If it works, then it works.

Anyone can use chatgpt, but still need someone to validate it can be put into the company use case

technically AI smart than us, but still not yet human enough

But if a computer can help write the code with perfection, why not??

Is like using your fingers to count instead of a calculator...

Work smart get scolding, if the Junior cleans up the code and no tech dept no problem.

Also if you don’t want your staff to use GPT or any other source state clearly.

I remember last time in the 90s when I was junior staff. I try to use Excel, back then still a new product, to calculate the accounts but my boss scold me ask me to use pen, paper and calculator. He don't believe Excel calculation is accurate.

Needless to say now everyone use Excel.

Cool... I just checked my recent writing researched with AI but I personally rephrease and rewritten... NaN% of risk detected, hehe
the risk not impt, impt is can copy the result which remove the AI added characters.

Wanna ask about using AI at work.

If I submit work related data into chatGPT to process, will I get in trouble or not? Like will my company finds out I can feeding AI office sensitive data into AI to do processing? I'm using company laptop after all, so will I get monitored?
yes can get into trouble. think samsung got one case in 2023.
Some paid AI services got some safeguards, would not use your data for training, but still 50/50.. they say who check and cfm.. maybe can try to do some form of data masking or preprocessing before you feed it.

Who still write code from scratch.

Most just copy paste. Last time, I also copy from stackoverflow. Haha

But copy paste also need to edit line of codes to ensure the script works as intended.

If you scold him/her for not correcting, then still can make sense.

If scold him/her because you not happy with chatgpt, you outdated like windows 1.0.
