Is it feasible to place fridge in service yard?

Is putting ceiling fan in bedrooms good? Cos currently I'm using standing fan, not sure I will get use to having ceiling fan blowing from on top when I sleep.

It's personal preferences. For me, I don't really like ceiling fan.

will your service yard have sun during the day? isit sufficiently sheltered from the rain?

i currently use a ceiling fan now and its really personal preference! i feel that ceiling fan generates more wind though

Please, please, please...be careful never to stand on your beds & stretch...if you have ceiling fans in the bedrooms! >_<

Can consider wall fans, too. :Þ

I think it's hazard to put a ceiling fan above where u are sleeping
Use standing fan lo. Spoil also easy to replace. Also no need clean much

Put things in service yard... Hot? Plus easy to take things or not? Some put in balcony also but if there's lights getting inside, it's not efficient for the fridge?

Cos mine is 3 room so kitchen already very small. I thinking put fridge in the service yard to save more space and can have a longer kitchen tabletop.

Put fridge in service yard I think is the same as putting in kitchen as it sits in one corner too and got ventilation.
U mean if sun is shining in will spoil the fridge faster?

yes.
Fridge get hotter during day and need to generate more energy to cool/ maintain the temperature inside.

your electric bill will go up a bit too.

If the ceiling fan can fall on top of you as you sleep then the electrician who installed it needs to be sued till his pants drop. :s8:

I personally prefer ceiling fan as the wind is more uniform. I am reasonably tall so when I'm standing on my bed I can reach the fan so cleaning is no issue.

As for fridge in service yard, I personally think its a bad idea. To save space in the kitchen your washing machine and dryer can already go to the service yard. Might be quite warm in the yard plus it sound inconvenient too.

As someone who cooks and uses the kitchen a lot, I will want my fridge to be close to the preparation and cooking area - convenience ! No running to and fro for ingredients. So placing the fridge in the service yard is a no no for me. :D

Ceiling fan - never tried but I don't see the harm ? Perhaps the cleaning and maintenance of the fan and fan blade is of concern ? Say in 5 years time the fan starts to wear down - we can't just throw it out and buy another one ? Either you gotta pay for the repair or change the whole fan which means re-wiring all over ? On the plus side, it saves space and looks better ?

My service yard got no sun so heat should be no problem

Fridge on the left, washing machine on the right

I understand but still abit cramp while u're doing the laundry..

And also take note of the laundry rack on the ceiling which can be lower down..If the fridge is too wide & tall, will probably block that rack from being extended down fully.

Need to consider the space of the kitchen and service yard.

I thought service yards are pretty small?

When the washing machine is in use, there will be some/a lot of vibration for extended periods of time.

Vibration is not good for fridge.

The seals and condenser pipe connections inside the fridge can loosen due to the vibration.

He's probably talking on opposite side..

As you face the service yard from the kitchen, water source and drainage is on the right..He's planning to use the empty space on the left side for the fridge..
