Thanks all for the information....

I read through all the good reviews of these Kindness Hotel, no doubt about their service. But I just can't decide on which branch to go? Basically I want one that is convenient, not on quiet street and short walking distance (about 3 to 5 mins) to either Kaohsiung Main station or Formosa Boulevard station.

I stayed at Kindness Xiong Zhong for 8 nights last November.

If you want to shop for clothes, go to Anning Street (after the main station exit keep left).

From the hotel, turn left to Jianguo Er road, you can find IT shops.

From the hotel, turn right, walk towards Sanfeng, you can find dried food stuff and also snacks.

Try Kindness Hotel Xiong Zhong and Kindness Hotel Houyi-Jiuru.

Very good service hotel chain, breakfast, 24 hrs beverage and ice cream, pop-con. Also provide tea snacks.

How far is Kindness Xiong Zhong to Anning? I believe I can go through the MRT station to Anning, right?

How's the weather in nov?

Nov dun need Winter clothes, esp near southern parts. A sweater is enuff.

If you look at the map, there is two parts of Anning Street. The one near to Houyi-Jiuru is NOT the wholesale street. It's the street on the left of the main station. So Xiong Zhong side is nearer.

Southern Taiwan is not that cold, so no need winter wear. But they do sell winter clothings.

They are different. You can try agoda and booking.com. Some of the credit cards have discounts if you book through them. For example, you can go to DBS website, search for agoda, then use the weblink provided to access agoda. You can get some discounts.

actually KHH hotels usually not full. I previously reserved 2 days with them, and they asked whether I wanna pay daily or in full. So if you are not happy, you can switch hotels, or even stay in Kenting if you made a day trip there and cant reach back on time.

hi anyone used the airport transfer facility/function from kindness hotel xiong zhong? agoda website booking there say got extra charge but how much? so means if i come down from taoyuan airport it's counted?

I stayed at Kindness Hotel Xiong Zhong. Very near the station.

Very good service. Breakfast provided. Free flow of ice cream and coffee 24 hrs. Even provide snacks for tea.

i just booked hotel xiong zhong. but i put 1 instead of 2 adults. resent them through the special request to 2 adults, no confirmation but it should be ok right?

then their checkout time is 12am?? agoda website. is that a typo? or issit 12pm

Usu. the hotel rm is for 2 person, some rms can add 1 extra mattress: Total is 3.
If you put 1, they also charge you same price, unless u book a hostel, they will charge according to number of person in a room.

Check Out Time is usually 12pm.

ok thanks man. i had a scare w e taipei hotel also, scr ew up but they confirmed the change. this one didn't reply so was a bit concerned.
