Hello,

Need advise on where to visit in Kaohsiung. It's such a big city yet it seems like there isnt much to do there?

On my list is currently - E-da Park, Cijin，[FONT=&quot]美丽岛[FONT=&quot] station[/FONT], Takao Museum and Sugar Museum (I dont think the last 3 places can last even half a day from the reviews on tripadvisor).

Really nothing else to do/visit in Kaohsiung? Probably gonna shorten my stay in KHH den.

Can also do day trip to Kenting, there is a nice acquarium there.

Can any master sifuk here advice / suggest, what can i do at kaohsiung?

i'm going to stay 1 night in kenting! but didn't know about aquarium, shall do some research on it den.. thanks!

not as much as tpe....

oh ya...still got dream mall (ferris wheel), khh 85 tower (c habour), xinguang pier, zhen ai pier, thersea teng museum,
there is a sort of railway museum or sumthing at gangshan (cant remeber)
mayb can spend time on shopping - xinjuejiang, sanduo shopping district

Kindness Hotel is good! They serve 24hr free coffee, pop corn and ice cream. You get to have snacks after 5pm.

Yes, remember to take the free shuttle from Kaixuan station.

Also, do a search on when the night markets are open. On some days, the night markets are closed.

If you want to shop xinjuejiang is a good place to shop and eat.

You can buy really cheap Asus routers along 九如二路 which is also a streets that has a lot of computer shops.

安宁街 behind Kaohsiung Station sells clothes that are mostly Korean fashion. You can cut across the station by telling the attendant that you want to get to the back and vice versa.

If you want to buy shoes, you can visit 大连街, which is nearby 九如二路. This is the Shoes streets. The brand "Naturalizer" is cheaper than in Singapore.

If you want to buy dried goods, like scallops or dried prawns, also peanuts, can go to 三凤中街，along 建国三路。

We call them "金凱瑞" night markets. Haha!

Besides, if you would like to have a look 三鳳中街, you can visit 三鳳宮(SanFeng Temple) as well. You can easily reach there on foot.

Fyi, If you have I-Pass(Transportation Pass in KHH), you can take free bus by the end of this Dec. I-Pass is quite handy. no matter taking MRT, bus, ferry, or renting a public bike.
