To me both uni recognition level is around the same, i suggest you take those which teach you more modules.
Employers will most likely choose employee who have more knowledge in what they are studying in than just looking at the paper cert unless you are holding a degree from singapore uni.
From what I have checked, SIM (RMIT) would be more well-known than the 2 uni you have mentioned. Not only that, that degree require you to take 24 modules which imo would have higher chance for you to enter any accounting firm excluding govt. sector.
If you will to compare the private uni modules to local uni modules, you will see that local require you to take a whole lot of modules as compared to private uni where you take way lesser modules. This is also why most employers choose local uni students. Since they take up a lot of modules, this give the employers an impression that they are more knowlegeable than private uni students.
Therefore, a degree is just a paper to tell your employer that you have the minimum requirement to take up this job. In most interview, after looking at your grades, the employer will put aside your paper, and ask you to briefly describe what you have learnt and how much you can contribute to their company (this is where you tell him the amount of modules that you learn and choose the few most relevant modules and tell him how it is related to the job you are applying for.) In certain company, employer will go deeper and test your knowledge with a small quiz/test.
This is long, but thanks for reading.
