Hi everyone, I would like to inquire questions about Murdoch University and I hope any Current/Graduated students could share with me the learning experience with Kaplan.

I'm talking about "Part Time" studies by the way.

1) Lesson
- How big is per class and how many days held per week?

2) Assignments
- How are the assignments like? Group and individuals project?

3) Exam
- How is their Examination format like and held on weekday or weekend, Day or Night?

4) Teachers
- Are they from Overseas or Locals?

Apart from all these questions, I hope you could share with me more.

Hi Jeff, I had just graduated form Murdoch Banking and Finance this year.
1) Lesson - There is around 30-35 students in a class. Class are held on 7-10pm. How many days of class in a week will have to depend on how many module you take for the semester (1 module require 1 lesson per week)
2) Most of the projects is in group. However, there is also 1 or 2 individual project.
3) The exams or tests can be held on weekday/weekends. No fixed timing, papers can be in morning or night.
4) So far, all the lecturers I have is from Local. I have a great learning experience from them! they are very knowledgeable are always willing to teach more to the students.

I am a middle age men, has been working in bank for 7 years. The reason I took up Murdoch from Kaplan is because the duration is shorter. And my perception is that its not really important in the private sector on whether your cert is from a very prestigious uni. Most importantly, I have the experience, and I need the cert to move up in my career.

Its a case by case basis. You have to evaluate on this.

Ive attended class as small as 10 people and big as 70

As to how many lesson a week will depend on how many modules you intend to take. Eg im taking 3 modules this semester hence 3 lesson per week, 7-10pm

2) Assignments
- How are the assignments like? Group and individuals project?

Both

3) Exam
- How is their Examination format like and held on weekday or weekend, Day or Night?

So far mid term is held on weekend and finals can be either weekday or weekend. Timing wise depends

4) Teachers
- Are they from Overseas or Locals?

Noidea, you are taking single or double major?

I am taking Marketing, need to do some bridging since my diploma is not related. I intend to do full-time first to test water, NS killed lots of my brain cells.

What is the difficulty like? Is Murdoch hard as compared to poly? My friends all take part-time say not much difference, they just need more time to revise
