Hi,

don't really know which sub-forum to post and since the karaoke system is also a hardware so i post here and enquire.

Can anyone help me out as i'm looking to buy a karaoke hdd/ computer alone without any amp or speakers, where are some places that i can go and look for it?

I think building it isnt the problem, the problem is how are you gonna get the software and all the songs/mvs? I believe they are copyrighted with DRM?

Maybe you can try looking into those branded karoke sets instead...

There's a china app called K"wokuge" that has tons of Chinese songs (karaoke) version. However, you need to stream it online so you will need a really fast internet to run it seamlessly. As for the com build, I think any basic HTPC is fine.
