Anyone stay at Kawazu before? What is the review and any other attractions?

From Tokyo central, what is the best way to go there?

Took the train in Feb 2020 for a day trip. Nice festival atmosphere with many stores. There is a beach, and small shrines. Of course winter sakura galore. Had Kinmedai course meal for lunch. Yeah heard about the onsen but did not try.

My hotel check in is 3pm. Will there be attraction for me to spend time if I reached there earlier in the morning?

There will be a lot of photo ops activity with the Sakura trees . Several Kilometers of it, there is also a nice river stream along the city.

If you go during the festival dates there are many festival stores food, trinkets, plants etc. There were buskers performing as well, i remembered seeing a monkey show comedy.

Is it worthwhile to go to kawazu after the sakura feastival? Will be in tokyo in 2nd week of march and by then the sakura festival would probably have ended.
