KDK Ceiling Fan

Hi guys,

A friend of The Other Half is planning a road trip to JB to buy fans and lighting for their new place, and asked if we want to join in to go buy for our new BTO.

I am interested in the R60VW because I need a fan with light.

The K15U2 from JB mentioned here which is supposed to be the equivalent of our R60VW ...

... has a longer stem / motor cover, according to the drawings:

R60VW

K15U2

222mm (R60VW) vs 316.5mm (K15U2), makes the K15U2 from JB 94.5mm lower than the R60VW.

Anyone knows if a K15U2 would still be suitable for our recently released BTOs? Or would it be better in my case to get R60VW which costs almost double the price?

Just wanted to share with everyone with the good experience I had buying from YES electrical (JB)... Picked out the one that I wanted (Which is a KDK 150cm ceiling fan with LED light, model K15U2)... I can't really remember exactly how much I paid but it was definitely cheaper than in Sillypore... The equalvalent model is R60VW in Singapore is selling for $698 based on the online store price...

Good and professional ceiling fan installer

Just to share that if anyone finding a ceiling fan installer, can look for Eric: 9797 7292. He came to my parents house initially to install a KDK fan, he is very professional and knowledgeable. He does not do sales talk and is very genuine. Hence I engaged him to install another 2 of my KDK fans in my new house. He does balancing for the fans and takes pride in his work.

Hi,

Anyone know what's the different between and long & short pipe for kdk model such as u60fw?

- is there specific ceiling height requirements for long or short pipe?
- presence of false ceiling around the fan affects choice of long and short pipe?
- does long or short pipe affect any performance in Anyway?
